Tips & Suggestions for Enjoying Maple Syrup

Warm your maple syrup before you put it on your pancakes, waffles, or French Toast. It will make it so the syrup will not steal heat from your food the way cold syrup does. To heat the syrup, put it in a pan over low heat and spoon it out over your breakfast. (DO NOT BOIL SYRUP) or put syrup in the microwave for 30 to 60 seconds.

Substituting maple syrup for sugar: Maple syrup can be used whenever a recipe calls for a sweetener. When used as a substitute for sugar in baking or cooking, use ¾ cup maple syrup to replace 1 cup sugar and reduce the liquid in the recipe by about 3 tablespoon for every cup of syrup
