The bacon, maple, jalapeño combination is a perfect balance of sweet, salt, and heat. The ricotta and mozzarella keep it fresh and light for a late evening meal as you enjoy longer days and spring like weather.
This is a wonderful easy meal for quick weeknight dinners, fun dinner parties where everyone can participate in cooking, or a creative appetizer to wow your guests. Naan bread is a great substitute for making pizza dough or rolling store bought dough when you are short on time.
Take note of the bacon cooking technique, credit is due to snoop dogg. This makes perfect crispy curly bits of bacon goodness, no flat bacon here!

Fresh herbs chopped for garnish such as chives, basil, oregano, thyme
Grated Parmesan cheese
Extra Maple Syrup for drizzling at the table
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 deg F
Mix ricotta with maple syrup. You want a good amount of syrup but don’t want your ricotta runny. Adjust as needed, if your ricotta seems to hold a bit of water let it sit in a strainer for 10 minutes before this step.
Season maple ricotta with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper.
Heat a sauté pan with sides over medium heat. Dump all the bacon in and immediately pull apart slices and stir the bacon as it cooks. Keep stirring and moving around the pan until cooked through and crispy.
Set bacon on a dish that is covered with a few paper towel sheets to drain fat.
Crumble the bacon into large pieces.
Set naan on a prepared baking sheet (oil or parchment paper).
Brush the edges of naan with olive oil and spread the maple ricotta evenly on top.
Add bacon pieces, jalapeño slices, and fresh mozzarella.
Sprinkle with fresh Parmesan, season with salt, pepper, red pepper flakes to taste.
Bake for 8-10 minutes until the crust and cheese is golden brown.
Slice and serve immediately with maple syrup for drizzling.
